    I want a wad/soc that makes shields invisible.

    You can make a WAD that does that. Just replace the graphics lumps for the shields with graphical lumps that are solid cyan.

    Um. I don't know ANYTHING about how to make a wad or soc.

    It's not that difficult. You just need to download a WAD editor (XWE is best), associate the SRB2 IWAD with it, and start!

    Most likely, you have no idea what that means. In that case, click this link.
