    Surprise Challenge Suggestion Topic

    From what I've heard, some people on the SRB2 shelter have good ideas for new Surprise Challenges. Thus, I'm creating this topic for people to post their suggestions. We're always open to ideas!

    I might well do that. I still really want a character contest sometime.

    Maybe you could try hidding it somewhere? Another idea. A city themed level. It can include any thing like a store, a mall or the park. How about a casino or the streets?

    Pfft. All ideas arn't that exciting. Neutral
    How about making an awesome level (any type) and put it into one mod. The best levels will be in the mod and those levels' creator will be the winner. Very Happy

    I think you've already asked that. No, I'm not going to allow personal contests. However, I will likely get around to some of your ideas, so it'll come to the same thing.

    Here's my ideas:

    --> Long Levels Challenge
    --> Best Sprite/Graphic Challenge
    --> Best Race level Challenge
    --> "Adventure Field" -Level Challenge
    --> 2D Levels Challenge
    --> Special Stage Challenge
    --> Fusion levels Challenge
    --> Under 200 things level
    --> Under 100 things level
    --> SOCing Challenge
    --> Egg Rock Zone -styled level Challenge
    --> Best adventure level Challenge, like Oceanic Cove Zone. (Is that Cove or Cave?)
    --> Best level pack Challenge (2-4 levels, maybe?)

    Actually, they can take months to years to make. I'm finding this out with MH.

    I've actually got an entry for a sprite-rip character. It doesn't have any diagonals, or even fronts or backs, though.

    Right now I'm making it actually turn around when it's supposed to.

    Ewww...I'd recommend you try to make it have all angles, or at least front and back. And it'll turn automatically as long as you group together the frames.

    Then maybe it's not the best sprite set to use. I'd always use at least four-directional sprites, preferably eight-directional.
