    SRB2 Sanctaphrax

Yes, you read that right...I created an exact replica of Sanctaphrax for SRB2!

    4shared.com/file/193667834/ba45d83/SRB2_Sanctaphrax.html

I used the map at the front of The Curse of the Gloamglozer as the blueprint for the level.

Now, please pay close attention: THIS LEVEL WILL CRASH IN SOFTWARE RENDERING. YOU MUST PLAY IT IN OPENGL! I know that not everyone has the OpenGL Port EXE for SRB2 2.0.X, so I've helpfully provided a copy in the ZIP folder.

Also, please check the included Readme. It's very important.

Hmm, I'll have to try this. Sounds pretty cool. One thing though: add some rings and such. It's VERY bland right now. But other than that, it's awesome. I always wanted to take a stroll through Sanctaphrax when I read those books.

    *sigh*
Give me a sec to look up whatever Sanctaphrax is. In the mean time, downloading.

Edit: Okay then, Sanctaphrax is an actual place whil the book is the Curse of Gloamglozer, this should be interesting.

ADMISSION TIME: By most ways of rating a level, this one isn't all that good. It's really meant more as a novelty than as a truly fulfilling game experience.

It does? So have you read the Edge Chronicles then?

If you haven't, DO. Not only are they epic, but it'll make this level a lot more fun, and it will make sense to you.

Uhm, so I can't seem to get OpenGL to run. It says I need "r_opengl.dll" or whatever. But when I take that from the previous OpenGL for v1.09.4, it says it's not compatible or something.

That's because it's an old, incompatible version of the DLL. You can get the new one from the list of ports on the SRB2 Message Board.

I'll be releasing an updated version of SRB2 Sanctaphrax in a little bit, and I'll throw in the DLL when I do.

    God, that's really damn lame.
Why don't you make a level that works in rendering modes that people can use, instead of wasting our time by having us use something we probably can't even run?

Wow, that is strange. Maybe you're witnessing a rendering bug in action.

    It's normal map.
When you use command (I forget that command's name, oh guy!)
and press "Tab" it shows level's map.
Is that the thing what you are meaning blahblahbal?
Anyway, this projects sounds good, i will download it.

No, he means that weird line that's slashing through the whole level.
